The People You Meet While Travelling Are Part of the Journey

One of the most beautiful things about travelling is that you never really know who you are going to meet.

Sometimes, you meet someone for one evening. Sometimes for a few weeks. You share a sunset, a scooter ride, a meal, a few laughs and then life takes you in different directions.

But somehow, those people can leave a bigger mark on you than people you’ve known for years.

Travelling has a funny way of bringing people together. You arrive somewhere not knowing anyone, and suddenly you find yourself surrounded by people who feel like home. You make plans at the last minute, share stories until late at night, explore places together and create memories without even realizing how special they are.

And then comes the difficult part: saying goodbye.

Because travelling teaches you that not every connection is meant to last forever. Some people are only meant to be part of one chapter of your life.

And that’s okay.

It doesn’t make the friendship less real. It doesn’t make the memories less meaningful.

Maybe that’s actually the beauty of travelling, learning to appreciate people for the time you have with them instead of worrying about how long they will stay.

You might never know when you’ll see each other again. You might end up on opposite sides of the world. But years later, one song, one photo or one random memory can take you right back to that moment.
